How do I prepare for my session?
You’re already awesome, I’m just here to help you show it off! Some things I recommend before coming:
Remove any polish that is chipped (unless that’s the vibe you’re going for!
I am not bothered by your body hair, but if you are, I recommend removing it. Hair removal isn’t always possible in post editing.
Makeup isn’t required but if you would like to enhance things, it can help bring everything together and give you the look you want. (if you need a makeup artist, let me know and I can send some your way!)
Bring lotion and chapstick! We don’t have time to be crispy out here!
With that note, if you typically wear oil on your body or face, on the day of your shoot, aim for creams or lotions. On camera, oils tend to look greasy whereas lotions and creams tend to look softer.
Music is super important for our session! I’ll have a speaker, so have an artist in mind or feel free to prepare a playlist that’ll make you feel confident!

Can I bring a friend to a session?
Please do!
We can always use an extra hype human! Obviously, within reason. Please do not bring all the cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and family pups but the peeps that can help you get ready or get in the mood, bring them along! Any photographer that ever says you can’t bring anyone at all, RUN

Do you offer anything for less cost, photos or time?
At this time, I do not. Occasionally, throughout the year I will do seasonal promos or offerings though! Some ways to know if/when I do is to follow my social media or join my email list.
-
What does your editing entail?
I remove anything that isn’t supposed to be there like a disrespectful pimple, a stain from coffee that morning, a piece of trash on the ground, extending the backdrop, light smoothing of skin, etc. Basically anything that is generally distracting but I do not reshape bodies, add graphics, change colors of clothes, products, hair, or add virtual backgrounds.
-
Can I call you?
Email is preferred! Generally speaking, I do not use telephone communication as I like to keep a virtual trail of details we discussed as well as keep professional boundaries between my personal life and business life. For quick correspondence, instagram DM’s work as well or for extended planning or communicating, a Zoom call can be set up. If I am unable to reach you, I resort to phone calls as a last resort.

What are digitals and how do I dress for them?
Digitals are for models to send to agencies or put on comp cards. Models should wear blue or black fitted jeans, black cami or black fitted top, and black heels. If looking to provide photos for swimwear, black swimwear is best.

Do you travel?
Yes! I love travelling! I am stationed in Raleigh, NC, but anywhere outside of the RDU, I charge $0.52 per mile. If flight is required, feel free to email me and we can discuss costs!

NOPE! I gotchu! I’ve modelled a bit over the years so I gotchu. Beforehand, I do recommend spending some time on Pinterest to get the ideas flowing but we can work through it together :)
